Is a style of silk embroidery that is created on cotton or velvet. These handmade textiles, made in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and are named for the Persian word for embroidery. Oftentimes, several pieces of Suzani embroidery are sewn together, like a quilt.
