Artemis is the Greek counterpart of the Roman goddess, Diana - Goddess of the Hunt, protector of children and animals. Her temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, is in Ephesus, Turkey.

Artemis Arte is created by Valerie Andriola Purpura. Valerie has worked as a teacher for twenty years, is a visual artist and specialist in Mexican folklore. She majored in International Business and received her doctorate in multicultural education from the University of San Francisco.
